In recent years we have modernized many of our properties to be energy efficient and equipped with new windows, doors, heating systems and thermal insulation.

ESG stands for Environment, Social and Governance. The criteria provide multible answers to the question of how sustainability can be implemented in the real estate industry. The following points are particularly important to us:
Social
In residential construction, we take long-term responsibility for our properties by keeping the rental apartments in our portfolio permanently and reliably renovating them. When selecting commercial tenants, we ensure, wherever possible, that they pursue sustainable business models. Tenants will also be encouraged and incentivised to ensure appropriate and healthy workplaces.
Environment
With the goal of making all buildings in Europe climate-neutral by 2050, the topic of environmental sustainability in the real estate sector is primarily about the climate neutrality of buildings. We strive for aspects such as CO2-reduced and resource-saving construction, the use of renewable energies and the reduction of water consumption and waste.
Governance
In addition to transparent communication with investors, investors and municipalities, this includes open reporting of planning and development. If we plan a project that makes a decisive contribution to neighborhood development, we involve the neighborhood and civil society in a participatory manner right from the start.
